THE Forest….

The "forest" is located right across the street from Nana and Papa’s house.  Every time we visit, we have to take at least one stroll through the woods.  Every year, It just seems to get greener and greener if that is even possible!  It is so close to “home” and such a unique place to explore that the kids love it, the parents love it, anyone who has the chance to discover it, loves it!  We tried to take pictures to share the beauty of the woods with others, but it just doesn't do it justice.  It truly is a beautiful area.

 

 Whenever Detric hears an airplane he stops in his tracks and points up to the sky and is captivated until he finds the plane and then watches it until it is gone.  We thought all little kids were this way…. But since we have spent a lot of time this summer with other kids Detric’s age, we realized…. Nope, it is just a Ward kid thing.  I guess the love of Airplanes is just in their blood!
