Keep on Dancin' Aparri!

Aparri had her first dance recital today!  She was amazingly cute!  She loved getting all dressed up in her fancy costume, and having mom pamper her with some makeup!  As her family we had a fun time watching her, but Aparri had so much fun doing it.  She smiled so much, she glowed. We are so proud of her!  She LOVES dance class.  We can get her do anything if we tell her it is "dance day"...even take a nap without complaint..now that is something!  Thanks Miss Shannon for being such a great teacher!  Aparri has also enjoyed having her little friend, Lydia Armstrong, in her class.  They are two little peas in a pod.  Keep on Dancin' ladies!

End of School Celebration

Celebrate!!! School IS OUT!  On the last day of school, we went over to some friends' house for a pizza, ice cream, and water party!  What better way to celebrate than yummy food, cool treats, water fun, and good friends!  We had a great time splashing, chatting, and enjoying the afternoon WITHOUT SCHOOL!  It is only June, but temperatures in Vegas are already above 100...the water and ice cream were definitely a good choice.  The kids had to eat their ice cream super fast...or else it quickly became a puddle of sticky goo (or face paint as you can see!).  Hello Vegas summer, the Ward family is ready!

Summer has OFFICIALLY begun...

With temperatures above 100, living in our swim suits, eatting LOTS of watermelon, playing dress up, going to the pool...yep, I believe summer has officially begun!

Preston Graduated Kindergarten!

Yesterday, was a Big Day for Preston!  KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!  For the ceremony the kids gave a wonderful song performance - singing several songs about numbers, letters, words, and 1st GRADE!  It was so fun to see Preston shine!  Preston has made so much progress through the year, he is becoming quite a good reader, counter, artist, and problem solver.  WE are so proud of him.  He got his "diploma" today  aka certificate from his teacher Mrs. Vancleave - so now it is offical...1st grade here he comes!  His little friend Zoe made him a candy lei for the occasion!
