The first full day in the northwest = day at the Portland Zoo with Bryce, Amy, Grayson, Lincoln (who we met for the first time today! So cute!!), Nana and EVERYONE ELSE from the Portland/Vancouver area. It was 1/2 price day at the zoo and it was packed, not just a little packed - it was crazy packed! At first we tried to ride the maxx, but the maxx parking lot was full, so with disappointed kids (they all wanted to ride the maxx, but we promised them a rain check on another day) we drove straight to the zoo and we were in bumper to bumper traffic about a mile before the exit! We were getting worried as we got closer, if there would be any parking spots left... well as we made our way in, I honestly think we got the very last available spot! It was crazy! But, worth it. The weather was beautiful, the animals were entertaining and the company was perfect! Thanks Bryce and Amy for the invite!!
