We are definitely POOL people. Any opportunity to be in a pool, we ARE. And we find that those types of people are kindred spirits too...because we have met some of the greatest people at the pool! For instance... Just before we left on our vacation, we met a family at the base pool. Low and behold they are in Clovis house hunting....and they are in the ward! Double bonus! We ended up having them over for dinner and we instantly clicked! We are going to be good friends! Plus, they just bought a house around the corner. Yipee. They also happen to be moving to Clovis from San Antonio... so while we were on our trip we met up with them twice...once at their home and the second time at a neat restaurant called Bigz. It was fantastic... a restaurant with an enclosed grass area for the kids to run around and play while the adults talk and socialize... Brilliant! We can't wait for them to get to Clovis!! Next, was a family we met at the hotel pool, parents and 2 boys from Albuquerque. We threw balls together in the pool for at least an hour. They introduced us to HAPPY HOUR at Sonic....1/2 price milk shakes! (Dangerous idea to introduce to our family of shake lovers!!) We got along so well with them that when we arrived at breakfast the next morning, we all decided to eat together and share a meal! The people we meet in pools....I tell ya, they are great! See ya there!
