Oopsy Goosey

After the Airshow, we were all hot and tired and decided to head to the pool!!  While we were enjoying the refreshing water of the pool.....Clay learned a valuable LIFE CHANGING lesson...

If you are going to goose your wife under the water at the pool,
make sure the woman you are goosing is indeed your wife!

Yep, that's right folks.  Clay goosed another woman at the pool!  Let me explain.... When we first arrived at the pool, Laura was in the kiddy pool with Detric while Clay was in the big pool with the other 3 kids.  After a little while, Laura decided to join Clay and the kids in the big pool, so she jumped in.  Clay was across the pool and saw Laura get in.  Clay noted that Laura was wearing a black swim suit, took a deep breath and then started swimming straight for his wife.  Well....as soon as Laura got in, Aparri starting screaming on the other side of the pool (they later found out that she was screaming because Dad took off underwater and couldn't find him!)  So, as soon as Laura was in the pool, she headed to Aparri's aid.  In the mean time, Clay was B-lining for "Laura" or who he thought was Laura!  However, while he was swimming, he had put his head down and swam hard because he was going the whole length of the pool and going to sneak up on his wife (therefore he didn't notice that Laura had changed positions)!  So when he finally got to the other side, up he looked, saw a black swim suit, pinched the booty that he saw and popped up out of the water....only to be face to face with another woman!  The man was mortified...words do not explain the look of terror and embarrassment this man felt!  Laura put two and two together (the look of death on her husband's face and the fact that he was apologizing profusely to a woman in the pool)  but then Clay's confession confirmed his act.... it was too much.  Not Clay, but the rest of us - Laura, Dave, & Jenny Hickman were all laughing hysterically.  We could NOT stop!  Of all people....that this would happen to Clay is beyond funny.  The other "lady" took it well. I'm not sure how I would take it, if the situation was reversed!  But, all in all....life lesson learned....never going to do that one again!
