Perfect Sea World Day

The timing of our trip was perfect. The last week of May, Texas schools are not out for summer break…so the park was pretty empty. We got a great seat at the show (without having to be too early), we walked on most of the rides, the weather was gorgeous….we couldn’t have asked for a better day at Sea World. We were a little disappointed when we found out the park was only open from 10-5. We thought it was a little short, but what could we do? It ended up being absolutely perfect. We played for those 7 hours and we had a fabulous time. Yes, we were all tired, but not exhausted. It was just the right amount of fun before the kids loose it and you are walking to your car in tears…(all you parents out there, know what we are talking about!) but instead we walked to the car with happy voices and everyone sharing what the best part of the day was! Perfect Sea World day…DONE.

You can’t go to Sea World without seeing Shamo. We all enjoyed watching the killer whales jump, splash, and eat lots of fish! Those are some amazingly big creatures! We only made to one show this year…. We also got to meet Zoe, Bert, and Ernie from Sesame Street. Detric was fascinated by them…wanted to watch them all the time, but not get to close to them. Let me look at ya, but don’t touch me!
