As soon as Preston heard that the children's museum had a George Washington Exhibit, he was dying to go! They even had a pair of George Washington's false teeth on display...and we all thought that was pretty cool....it was quite the thing to see! The children's museum hasn't been open for that long, and it was spring break, so it was a little crazy crowded, but we still had a great time! Laura even ran into an old BYU buddy! Summer Bowen! We haven't seen each other in about 10 years and we spotted each other from across the room - it is such a small world!
The kids loved the water room - of course! Luckily, we did that close to the end, because they got soaking wet! But, they were in there for a LONG time and would have stayed longer too! Our final venture in the musuem was a giant pirate ship and castle that the kids wore themselves out on! They were up and down and all around that thing....shooting cannons, playing swords, putting up and down the anchor, being the damsel in distress at the top of the castle! After hours of fun, we finally left the museum, but the kids were already asking when they could go back.... I call that success!
