When we first moved to Vegas we went to Mt. Charleston and hiked Mary Jane Falls....it was a cold, rainy day that ended with a lot of tears. Our kids vowed they would never hike THAT mountain again...well, today we took the kids back to Mary Jane falls and tried again. This time, we had a much more positive experience!! No tears! On the way down we even gave the kids a challenge...first 2 people down the mountain got a quarter. Oh...our kids are competitive! The competitive streak came out as they raced down the mountain...when someone got close to them, they would start running! It was a fight to the end, but Preston and CJ ended up being the winners of the quarters! Good job boys!
