Spring Break 2013

The kids are out of school for a week- what are we to do?  Clean? Play? Sleep in?  All of the above!!  We decided to stay home this year and keep busy around Vegas.  The weather is great and there were plenty of fun things to keep us busy!  Day 1 - Laura had the kids do some spring cleaning...yep...happy spring break..now CLEAN!  Well, Laura's theory was... if we work hard first, then the kids will realize they don't want to work like that all week and therefore, will help keep the house clean the rest of the week!  So..before you think Laura is sooo mean to have the kids clean on their break - don't worry....Laura, Clay and the kids had plenty of playtime through the week!  Day 2 -We had playdates with friends,  Day 3- Went to the new children's museum, Day 4- Went for a hike,  Day 5 -Went to Plant World Nursery.  By the end of the week, we had enjoyed being together as a family - not having to worry about schedules, homework, etc.  For being a week "off", we were all pooped..it was a week packed full of fun!
