Yes, this is Red DOG and yes, RED DOG is a TURTLE. Growing up Clay's family had several dogs that they all named "Red Dog." It kinda became a family joke... Red Dog, Red Dog 2, Red Dog 3, etc. Well, when another Refugee Turtle called our house home AND he has red eyes...Clay couldn't resist calling him "Red Dog." Since our small family will never have a dog...at least not anytime soon... this Red Eyed turtle will be the closest thing we will get to having a Red Dog...so we all thought it would be a fun joke and a fun name.... Red Dog the Turtle. Yep, that is how we do it over here!
