Preston chose to play football this year! Not flag football, not lets sing songs and play nice football...TACKLE football! They start tackle football with kids as young as kindergarten here! Preston was so excited to play! When he got issued all his gear, he didn't even throw a fit when Laura insisted we do a football fashion show!! He was all ready to show the world his new gear!!! Preston plays defensive middle linebacker for the Wildcats! He is number 3. Go Wildcats!
First game of the season and the whole house slept in! Laura and Preston ran to the field and barely made it in time for pictures...whew, close call! After pictures, Preston took a minute to find a stump and eat some Rice Chex before hitting the field for the game! Clay and the other kids arrived in time to cheer on Preston!
We are all new to this football thing...well, I guess Clay has experience from highschool, but Preston and Laura are still learning the ropes! Laura is definitely trying to figure out the whole ensemble so she can help Preston get ready! It is quite complicated and a handful until you get the hang of it...maybe Laura will understand by the end of the season!!
