We LOVE Valley of Fire! Next to the pool, Valley of Fire was a Vegas favorite of ours. We were anxious to share it with Nana, however, Valley of Fire, in June can be HOT. There is no shade, just YOU, the SAND, and the SUN...yeah, HOT doesn't even get close to what you feel! So, we wanted to go, but kinda knew in the back of our minds, that it probably wouldn't happen on this trip. Well, as luck, good will, fate, (what ever you want to call it) goes...we got a cloudy morning! So, when we saw the cloud cover - we knew it was the perfect day for the valley - so we hopped in the car and off we went. It wasn't too hot, we were able to hike, have fun, be silly and leave without getting baked. The weather couldn't have been better! Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with the cloudy morning in Vegas so we could go be on "fire" without having to actually feel like we were on fire! We loved it!
