2013 Thanksgiving Protocol = Turkey, Pheasant, Tradition, & Parks

It was fun having Thanksgiving on Black Friday....to be able to taste the food, enjoy it, and feel good while doing it...yeah, it was definitely worth the wait!  The food was fantastic....everything tasted terrific.  We had, turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, homemade rolls, pretzel jello, homemade cranberry sauce, gravy, and mashed potatoes....yum yumm quite the feast.  It is tradition in the Thorup family to have the pheasant gravy boat on the table.  So we proudly accepted the famous pheasant to grace our table this year!  When we had all had our fill, we took the kids to the park, where they got nice and muddy from the melting snow....thank heavens dirt don't hurt and can wash off!  We had nice brown bath water after those kids that night!  We finished the night off with a round of pumkin and lemon meringue pie.  Oh what a day!  What A Wonderful DAY!  Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.
