This was our first trip to Idaho since Preston turned 8, so he got to go out with Papa and pick his cow! He took a careful scan and considered LOTS of different heifers, but it had to be just right. Preston knew what he wanted - even thought the rest of us weren't sure what that was - all we knew was that Preston's cow was named, "Milk Machine" he has had the name picked and ready for years....now was the big day....picking the perfect cow!! At the end of the selection - Preston picked #15 - Milk Machine.
**The cow that Preston picked had a calf already, so Papa said that part of the agreement did not include the existing calf - Preston would have to wait for the next one. Preston quickly agreed - Once he had his perfect cow...he wasn't going to let it go!
