Our husbands had to work, and the ladies didn't want to stay home on Memorial Day....So the ladies took the kids hiking to Palo Duro Canyon by Amarillo, TX. It had rained quite a bit the few days before, but the weather was nice ON Memorial day - so the girls didn't think twice about going hiking. Well, when they arrived, they were told that ALL the trails were closed due to all the rain - and at first they thought their day was ruined - and they had just driven an hour and a half to be disappointed. Rather than give up, they decided to see if they could make the most of the day and they had an adventure! They had a blast hiking around and having their own fun on their our "own trails"! It ended up being perfect. Thanks Lucero family for joining the Ward crew on this crazy hiking "memorable" adventure!
