Nativity Dressup and Lubbock Creche Display

Over the last couple of years, one of our favorite family Christmas Traditions has become the visit to a crèche display.  We were sad that we didn't find one last year, but when we heard that the Lubbock, TX Stake had an amazing crèche display - we made sure to go!  And, let me tell you...it was amazing.  They went all out!  The whole cultural hall was full of crèches, the outlying rooms were full of foreign crèches, they had artists on sight sculpting, painting, singing, playing instruments, a whole children's room with crafts, nativity dress-ups, children's crèches.  It was so well done and beautifully decorated.  It was definitely worth the 1 1/2 drive to get there!

Some of our favorite Crèches:

Preston loved watching the artist mold her sculpture of Mary.
