We have had several adventures on our journey to Spokane. First, Preston had to pee in the middle of "no where" so a gatorade bottle came in handy. I think Preston was pretty proud of himself. We definitely made sure that bottle got thrown away and not mistaken for juice....yikes. The first day in the new house...we ate breakfast outside on the patio. CJ kept himself busy making himself an xbox. Laura enjoyed reading the 2 children's books that Julee Nielsen made and gave to Laura as a farewell gift. It was sad that so many of our friends were either on vacation or moved when we left so we weren't able to say goodbye in person...but sometimes I think that helped to make leaving easier.
We were so grateful that Papa and Nana Smith met us at our new house and helped us unpack and move in. It sure made things go a whole lot smoother and faster. Since we have less than 2 weeks before Clay leaves for Oklahoma, we wanted to get as much upacking done as possible.
Papa and Nana also just bought a house in Tri Cities!!! We are now 2 hours from Grandparents!!! Whoohoo. Now this is going to be fun.
