One of the places near Santa Fe that we wanted to visit and check out was Bandelier National Monument. We were able to do a hike that allowed us to explore ancient cave dwellings. It was so neat! It's amazing what people can live in and not only survive but thrive! We used our imaginations to try and picture the people and civilizations that dwelled here at one time - it definitely made us grateful for our nice warm and cozy beds at home!
