We decided to take the whole group to the bowling alley while Mom and Dad Ward were here to visit. The kids have fallen in love with the activity, and honestly - Clay and Laura don't mind it either...fun way to spend a few hours! However, Mom and Dad Ward were a little hesitant when we mentioned the whole "Bowling" idea. It had been several years since their last bowling encounter, so they weren't sure how well they would get along with the whole activity. Yes, there were a few gutterballs, and a few rusty throws, but then "Gutter" aka Papa and "Slammer" aka Grandma, were bowling like pros! Everyone ended with smiles on their faces and proud of their achievements on the lanes (Especially Preston...he did better than everyone minus Clay...he smoked us all)! I don't think it will be quite so long before they go again!
