One of the books we got from the Library was called, "Ugly Pie." Preston loved the book. It was about a bear that goes around to all his friends looking for ingredients for his Ugly Pie. Well, we read the book and Preston would not stop talking about how he was going to make his own ugly pie. So, on one of our grocery store runs, Preston grabs an Oreo crust and some chocolate chip cookies.. and says, "Mom, can we get these for my Ugly Pie?" Laura decided that we had better make an Ugly Pie! So we went home and make an "Ugly Pie"... it was an oreo crust, filled with vanilla ice cream and crushed up chocolate chip cookies, then a layer of chocolate syrup, cool whip, and topped with blue berries as eyes and mouth and a cookie for a nose! If you ask me, it turned out to be a pretty "Cute pie" and everyone loved it! Good job on your "Ugly Pie" Preston!
