Then, we spent the whole day at Sea World! Since he was the birthday boy, Clay and Laura told Preston that he could pick 1 thing out at the gift shops that he wanted. (We knew this was a risk...who knows what he would pick and how much it would be...) Well, as it turned out, we went to store, after store, after store... and at the end of the day..drum roll please....he picked out a squeaky killer whale....yes, a killer whale that squeaks and it was only $5.00. OK! Well, at first Clay and Laura were happy - hey, $5 is nothing - there were some rediculously expensive things, we can do a killer whale...well, as the vacation progressed..that squeaker in that killer whale got MORE and MORE and MORE annoying...and suddenly Clay and Laura realized why that killer whale was only $5.... it was driving them crazy - having it cheap was the only way to get people to buy the thing! (Not us...our 6 year old son just liked it best!).
At the end of an amazing day at Sea World, Preston wanted to eat dinner at the Olive Garden! He wanted the breadsticks, a little bit of alfredo sauce, and LOTS of CHOCOLATE CAKE! The waiter was amazed that we ordered 2 pretty big and pretty rich desserts after our meal....he was even more amazed at how quickly those boys devoured them! Not a crumb of them were left...
