While we were in Dietrich, Clay rightfully earned the title of Robin Hood! As Clay was shooting Trevor's bow.....he split an arrow! Yep, he got two arrows that close together! One right threw the other! It's not just in the movies people...it happened right in the backyard! Pretty impressive there Clayboy! After a shot like that, who should go next, but Maid Marian, aka Laura, took a turn and she was just thrilled if her arrow hit ANYWHERE on the target even once! I think Laura will leave the shooting of the arrows to Clayboy, and stick to the badmitten with the kid rabbits and Cluck the chicken!
Grandma and Papa also had a slew of small bow and arrows that the kids had a blast shooting around. Thank goodness no one got shot! With that many kids armed and dangerous....we cheated death once again!
