Ride baby...RIDE!!

We have been to Sea World 3 times now.  Twice in San Antonio and Once in San Diego…and it seems each time we have a different experience….the first time it was all about the shows.  The second time it was all about the animals, this time…it was all about the rides!  We were able to find several kid coasters that everyone could go on!  Even Detric enjoyed the few rides he was able to ride! The kids are getting old enough to ride some of the “fun” rides!   The ones mom and dad get thrills on too!!  This time we were able to get Preston on one rollercoaster “The Steel Eel”  and CJ on the other, “Great White”.  After one ride, they were done and wouldn’t go again!  But, we were proud of them for at least trying it once!  Aparri was MAD that she wasn’t tall enough to go on either, she is our little dare devil and would have gone on both!  We told her she needs to be sure to eat her vegetables so next time she will be tall enough….that night she turns to Laura and asks, “Mom, can you make green beans for dinner tonight? I want to grow!”  Well, that girl is really motivated, especially when you know how hard it is for Laura and Clay to get that little woman to eat her green beans!  Worse than pulling teeth!    We ended the night with Clay and Laura ALL ALONE ON THE WHOLE ROLLER COASTER!  Yep, Laura had ran with the other three kids up the back of the line while Clay and CJ rode it.  When it stopped, she was informed that the park was now closed….but since she had come all the way to the back of the line to swap out…he would run it one more time, just for her!  Since none of the kids wanted to (or weren’t tall enough to…) they strapped Detric in the stroller told the kids to stay put and stay together…Clay and Laura rode the friendly skies together – all alone…on the Great White.  IT was thrilling, scary, and soooo much fun!  What a rush! And great way to end our day at Sea World!
