Spring Break Flew By! It was here and gone before we knew it. I guess we were having too much fun!! General Conference started out our spring break this year, so we took our annual treat trip to Walmart - where everyone gets to pick out their favorite treat & cracker to add to the snack pile of goodness that we gorge on while we watch 8 hours of conference! The following week was packed full of activities: Monday = deep clean bedrooms (underbeds, in closets, in bins/boxes, etc. Everything! Then a fun trip to McDonalds with our friends the Lucero Family. Day 1 DONE. Tuesday = a day trip to Lubbock. We hit the children's museum, ToysRus, and Costco. The trip pretty much filled up the entire day, but the kids had a great time, blowing bubbles, flying airplanes, driving cars, playing with ALL the toys at toysRus, and watching movies on the ride to and from Lubbock! Day 2 SUCCESS. Wednesday = grocery shopping (whoohoo...does that sound GREAT??) and then rollerskating at the rink with friends for 3 hours (that sounds more fun!) We all had a great time and everyone had a buddy! Everyone is getting better and better everytime we go! They are cruising around the rink at high speeds! Aparri tried trainer blades this time and did fantastic! I am super proud and surprised at how many times they fall and still get up and keep going...Thursday=cleaning day & laundry day. (the not so fun, but necessary day of the week). Friday= Day trip to Albuquerque. It was a long drive to and from Albuquerque, but totally worth it!! We got to go to a new children's museum, go to eat at Applebees, and we brought home a Becky!!! That's right, Laura's sister, Becky, flew in for Preston's baptism!!! So, let the fun begin! Saturday = Birthday/Baptism/Celebration of Preston day! Lots of fun and festivities - baptism prep, baptism, motorcycles, cake, dinner, presents= Mission Accomplished!! Whew...that break was just a tease. Everyone is ready for summer!! I guess we only have about 30 days of school left before summer break! Time for the countdown!
