Mom's Kind of Camping

That's right folks, we decided to start off spring break with a bang!  And go camping....inside the house!  Yes, tent and all was put up INSIDE the house!   Laura was the mastermind behind this idea - she thought she was brilliant, Clay thought she was crazy, and the kids thought it was GREAT.  Once it was up, the kids never wanted the tent to come down!  It was originally only going to be up for 2 days...but 2 turned into 3, which turned into 4, but after the 5th day - Clay and Laura decided the indoor tent, needed to come down!  It sure was fun while it lasted!  All the kids took turns sleeping in the tent, reading by the light of the lantern, and being silly...all within the walls of our own home!  Hey...when your husband has to work and we can't take a "real" camping trip - this is a pretty great alternative- kids are happy, Mom is happy...doors are locked, kids are snuggled in their sleeping bags and mom is in her nice and comfy cozy bed! That's my kind of camping!

It was a little tricky getting the thing to fit in the sun room, but we did it...a little snug, but it fit!
