Clay has officially made it into the Clovis Dove Dynasty Club! There is a group of men that go out hunting Dove's on Saturday mornings. He has gone several times and LOVES it. The first time he went, Preston went with him. Both boys came home with bigger grins on their faces they we have seen in a long time! The group shot 14 doves that day. Luckily, Dave (a friend), took them home to clean them out. The next Saturday, the boys went out again. CJ and Preston went with Clay this time. They shot 17 doves! We weren't so lucky this time, Clay got to bring them home to clean them...and oh boy....the boys thought that was great. Preston was in heaven. He came running in telling Laura all about all the organs and things they identified. Clay had even given Preston a heart to dissect....oh lovely! The boys (the big boys that is), have big plans to wrap the dove meat in bacon, smoke it, and have a lovely appetizer party in the next few weeks....Lovely!
