I just love the BOO tradition! It makes me happy! We got boo'd with a plate of the BEST Goodies ever....pumpkin rice krispies...(orange colored rice krispie treats in the shape of a pumpkin with a tootsie roll as a stem, and green frosting for leaves.) The were scrumptious. Laura's weakness is any type of melted marshmallow treat..so this was BAD...I mean perfect for her! As our treat, we gave out nutterbutter ghosts and chocolate covered oreos. The kids did a pretty good job on the delivery...however, at one house as we were darting back to the car, Preston stops on the sidewalk and starts screaming, "I lost my shoe... I lost my shoe" Laura and Clay told him, "Just get in!" and off we zoomed. The crime scene is NOT the place or time for questions! We went around the corner and then asked Preston what happened. Apparently, one of his crocs fell off while running to the car. So, after a few minutes ( a safe amount of time, we thought), we headed back to the scene of the crime to find the missing shoe. There it was....in the middle of our BOO victim's driveway! Laura stopped in the middle of the road, Clay jumped out, bent down to grab the shoe, and practically peed his pants, because the Victims' oldest son jumped out from behind their car and scared him! They were waiting for us! They must have seen the shoe and knew we would be back shortly to get it! We all had a good laugh and off we went. Now that is getting BOOOOOOO'd!!!
