Well, Laura and Becky decided to make Memorial day really memorable this year! While the boys were away on a father and sons campout, the girls had some girl time; and what better thing to do for girl time than to dye hair! So, on a whim they both bought a hair highlight kit; and off they went. After they put the kids to bed, they read through the instructions and went for it! They pulled out each others' hair (literally), stayed up WAY too late, experimented with times and color, and laughed a lot- a whole lot! The results???? Well, Becky who is naturally dark brown was ALOT lighter than before - and Becky didn't like what she saw. So we spent the next night fixing it. Yep, we redyed it dark and then did more subtle highlights...after the second try, it turned out perfect. Laura who is naturally lighter than Becky could see the new highlights in her hair, but they were very subtle - if Clay didn't even notice that anything was done - you know that it looked pretty natural. Crazy girls...fun memories.
