Scar'd for life

You sure can't tell from his smiley, chocolate covered, donut face...but this man has had a hard day. 

I think Laura might be a little more scar'd than he is.... if anyone ever says cavity again about this little man...Laura is going to pay the money to have him sedated...oh man, it was awful.  The dentist we currently go to doesn't sedate, so we went in to have 4 cavities filled and Detric flipped out.  I honestly think the dentist didn't wait long enough for his mouth to numb before she gave him the numbing shot and that was it... Detric was done at the beginning...and the rest was awful.  He was kicking, screaming, fighting...and Laura was the one who held him in her arms, trying to calm him and let them do their job and fix his teeth.  No thank you, never again.  It was that awful...Laura is a tough woman and doesn't back down easily...but that was beyond her limit.  His feet were kicking, he was thrashing around in the seat...when it was all over, he had to pee really bad - Laura felt doubly awful...was part of the thrashing because he had to pee so bad?  Oh, if this little man would have asked for a pony right then, Laura would have bought it for him.  So..when he picked out a $14 tractor from tractor supply and wanted a donut....yes sir!  I'll definitely buy you that overpriced toy and cavity making donut...no problem...sheesh.  Yep, I definitely see sedation in our future!   **Dental office game him the stuffed snake!
