Every morning the calves needed to be fed....bottles need to be filled with warm water and powdered milk, a pitch fork full of hay given, some oats sprinkled in the pen, and then the bottles rinsed and dried. It was a chore that needed to be done. CJ would do it when he was told and did a good job - checking all the boxes off the list and doing it right. Preston loved the calves and volunteered daily to go and spend time with the animals!! He wouldn't just feed them and leave - he would love them, spend time with them, talk to them, and be out there for hours, the bottles didn't always get cleaned, but the calves definitely got loved! We usually made them go together to make sure they were both loved, fed, and cleaned!! Good job boys!
Hey Everyone, we're doing well & keeping busy with flying, family, and school, but mainly just trying to keep up with CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica. We hope that you're doing well and that you'll drop us a line and let us know how you're doing. [Clay, Laura, CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica]
