Last year we couldn't get Detric to do swim lessons. He was happy in the baby pool, but jump in the big pool and take lessons...NO WAY. But this year...wow what a transformation!!! We couldn't get the kid to stay above water long enough to listen to the instructions!!! He was too busy swimming!!! This kid loves water - PUT on some googles (and at the end of the summer...his super suit that we found in the closet) and shabam he is off and in the pool underwater! The "suit" has a built in life preserver and Detric looks like a little Hulk when he is wearing it! It is awesome! and he feels invincible! GO HULK. Even though this little man loves water, we couldn't convince him to go down the slide. We knew he would love it... we tried to force him down once and that didn't go over very well....he got turned around in the slide and HATED it. So.....something to work on next year - THE SLIDE!
