Everything about Christmas is magical. The lights, the music, the traditions, the fun, the baking, the smells, the decorations, etc. Everyone seems to be a little happier, chipper, and friendly. I think the fact that everyone is focused on "Christ" mas has a lot to do with it. A wonderful way our family starts December is to attend the Nativity Creche Display. The Lubbock Stakes does an amazing job transforming the stake center. The minute you walk through the doors you feel the spirit of the season, Christ, and love. The whole building is full of nativities from all around the world, beautiful music is playing, lights are dim, and the spirit is strong. We are always glad that we attend and it is always a great start to our Christmas Season. (The nativity above was amazingly tiny! the christmas lights give a little perspective on the size!) Preston was captivated by the musicians (who were playing Christmas music on guitars!) low and behold, they were our friends Brent and Emily Wheeler! Small world.
