CJ can tell you all the Lego Ninjago Ninjas, their color, power, weapon, how they defeated the enemy, etc. So we weren't at all surprised when he asked for a Lego Ninjago cake for his birthday this year. And not just any ninja...the GOLD Ninja...Lloyd Garmadon the ultimate spinjipsu warrior. (It was a challenging cake to make ! Laura even ventured into marshmallow fondant for the helmet! Ohhhh. we are getting serious!)
For his Birthday celebration at school CJ wanted to bring his entire class Daylight Donuts. Easy enough request, right? Well - sure...the only thing is Daylight Donuts is only open in the wee ours of the morning and closes at 11:30. IF you don't get their early enough, the pickin's are slim too. So, we woke up at Daylight (pretty much - they have to be at school by 7:45) and went and picked out donuts for his classmates. I think CJ was the favorite classmate in school that day!)
Oh my! Can CJ really be 9?? Looks like an awesome birthday!!
