It was a beautiful, HOT day at White Sands! We got there and we were all super excited to sled down the hills. The kids ran up the hills and sled down squealing with delight....but their enthusiasm quickly faded as their energy got zapped from the sun! Running up and down sand hills is quite the work out! We were all dripping wet with sweat after 30 minutes! No one complained when we loaded up and got slurpies on the way home!!
How do you find a white lizard in a sea of white sand? You have Eagle Eye Preston find it - that's how. If there is any bug, lizard, animal, critter anything around....this kid will find it. I am constantly amazed by him! I think this one might be the top most impressive moves....a white lizard at White Sands.... wow buddy. Once we let the lizard go, it was hard to see him even though I knew he was there! I had to stare at the spot and not blink...once ya blink he was gone.
