We were so excited when we got the phone call that Elder and Sister Smith were going to be able to take 10 days off their mission (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) to come and meet Erica and bring extra hands to help with the household duties that come with a newborn! Nana and Papa were like little fairies that floated around the house doing good things....dishes were done, cars washed, bathrooms cleaned, lunches made, windows wiped down, kids fed, kids clothed, kids played with, babies held, dinners made, furniture painted, weather stripping fixed, lawn raked, mowed and fertilized, and so much more that I can't even list! They were such a blessing! It was so nice to see them, be with them, and talk with them after not seeing them for over a year! Thank you Nana and Papa....I mean Elder and Sister Smith. We are so glad you are on your mission doing great things for the people in Wisconsin - but we sure were glad to be able to snag you for a little while and feel your love! You truly were living Angels while you were here.
Aparri and Detric loved to steal Papa and Nana's nametags and pretend to be Elder and Sister Smith! It was really cute. We were able to catch Aparri and Nana for a picture...but as for Detric and Papa (who by the end of the week were 2 peas in a pod..or should I say 2 sprinkles on a chocolate donut) were not caught. Detric, who only has one speed...and that is running....was too fast for us and we didn't get him and as for Papa... Well, anyone who knows Papa - knows that he won't be in any more pictures than he absolutely has to, so we didn't get him in this one. BUT, we did get him in others through out the week...so I didn't want to push my luck!!
