Clay and Laura have been busy doing projects around the house together! Project #1: Repainted some shelves. They began as a brown pair of peeling, not very appealing bookshelves. (actually I believe they were part of an entertainment center...but the center piece already became our window seat!). They ended up a cute red bookshelf perfect for the boys' room. Project #2: Barstools. We got a great deal on some barstools. They are heavy, cast iron, and in good condition; except for the seat cushions; which were stained, sun bleached, and had several holes. It was a great opportunity for Clay and Laura to work together to recover the cushions. And waa laa... we love the end product and now we can wipe the seats off when needed (a must with children!). Laura has also been making wreaths out of books (large cream wreath) and finding the perfect places around the house for them! Watch out she is addicted...she has 3 in the house; has given several others away as gifts; and she also taught 3 ladies how to make them!
Hey Everyone, we're doing well & keeping busy with flying, family, and school, but mainly just trying to keep up with CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica. We hope that you're doing well and that you'll drop us a line and let us know how you're doing. [Clay, Laura, CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica]
