With the arrival of the BEAST, it is time to retire the Marshmallo....sad day. Laura is having a hard time letting it go. It has been so good to us. We bought the truck just after CJ was born...so we have had the truck for 11 years. Yes, it might be a little silly...but it's become a member of the family with so many memories it has shared with us.....we wish you well in all your adventures. Goodbye old friend.
Hey Everyone, we're doing well & keeping busy with flying, family, and school, but mainly just trying to keep up with CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica. We hope that you're doing well and that you'll drop us a line and let us know how you're doing. [Clay, Laura, CJ, Preston, Aparri, Detric & Erica]

Introducing...the BEAST
Tennis Tournament
After about 17 years, I have finally found my way back to the courts! I have been taking a tennis class twice a week for the past 2 months. To finish off the class, I played in a doubles tennis tournament Friday and Saturday. My partner and I won 1st place for womens doubles! Thanks Clayboy for letting me be a little selfish and have some fun and coming with 5 kids to the courts to be my own personal cheering squad! So much fun!
SodaPOP BOMB
Preston knew exactly what he wanted his experiment to be for the science fair! He talked about it months before! Thank goodness too...because we had it picked out and then totally forgot about it until 2 days before! Yikes! We quickly picked up the supplies, did the experiment on Halloween before trick or treating, and pulled it all together the night before it was due..whew.It all a fun experiment and Preston did a good job typing up all his information.... he even won 2nd Place in his Class! Woohoo!
Confident is Key!
The kids have been talking about going ziplining for weeks now.... Counting down the days until we were going to go to St. Bernard Farms! Clay and Laura weren't sure if they would actually do it... Well.... THEY DID IT! No hesitation at all....just stand, jump and go! He had so much fun, Preston is now talking about basejumping..... Oh boy! I think we better take him on a slightly bigger Zipline and work our way up to basejumping...but he sure is confident...and confident is KEY!
Detric is Mooing, because he is a cow...duh!
Scouts Campin' Out
It's a good thing there aren't any women on these scout campouts... After seeing some of the critters they encounter...they would have been out of there and in the nearest hotel before the sun went down!!! Boys boys boys!!! Yikes!! CJ and Clay were pretty proud of their fishing abilities and their yummy tin foil dinners!

"Fall"icious
The colors of fall are so beautiful, it's hard not to want your picture taken in all the beauty, right? Well, that's what Laura told the kids as she pried them out of their carseats in the van and out into the fall beauty! Smile everyone it's "FALL" ICIOUS!!!
Off Roading in a MINIVAN!
Clay found a highway that went through the mountains for our drive home Sunday afternoon. We thought it would be fun to have a scenic drive through the mountains and enjoy the fall colors. Plus, it only added about 20 minutes onto our drive time...so why not? Well, all was fun and beautiful - we were enjoying the ride when the pavement ran out and it turned into a dirt road....now what? Why...you keep going through the mountains!! So our nice steady driving pace quickly slowed to a snail pace as we crawled through the mountains on a dirt road in the minivan! Several times we were tempted to turn around, but we had already come this far...we had to be close to the end right? So our nice quick scenic drive home turned into 2 additional hours of scenic off roading through the mountains! To help her feel better about the situation Laura decided to get everyone out of the car and take some family pictures with the beautiful fall colors.. so in the end it was a fun adventure and we got some great family shots ..WIN WIN!!
